About

CAUTION: ROAR is not safe.  It contains the rages, ramblings, and rampages of Royce Hunt.  Such writings may cause the reader to rage, ramble, and rampage.  If you experience such sensations, you may find relief by posting them below.

Royce is an aspiring writer of fantasy, history, philosophy, and theology.  He earned his BS in History from Cedarville College, and his MDiv from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

About the Banners

I used ImageFX 4.5 Studio on a SAM460ex running AmigaOS 4.1 to create the rusty banners.
Royce On A RampageI based the main ROAR banner on an old rusty sign one might see on the side of the road whilst driving through a single stop sign town.

Real hOpe You Can EndureThe 2012 campaign banner used the same rusty sign… just repainted.

Christmas_bannerThe Christmas Rampage banner is modified from George Alfred Williams illustration of the 1905 edition of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.

Royce On A Philosophical RampageThe Philosophical Rampage banner from left to right includes Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Reid, Frederick Bastiat, Frank Meyer, Gordon Clark, Alvin Plantinga, and Ronald Nash.

Royce On A Theological RampageThe Theological Rampage banner from left to right includes Athanasius, John Chrysostom, Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Owen, and John Bunyan. (If only Athanasius, Augustine, and Luther went by the name John, I’d have a full set.)

Unknown_BannerThe Rampage into the Unknown banner used some layering of the rust background with a white distorted film layer and typewriter text.

ROAR_sports The Sports Rampage banner is modified from Norman Rockwell’s Dugout.

techtirade_banner The Technological Tirade banner is a blend of Commodore 64 BASIC/OS V2, AmigaOS 4.1, Workbench 1.0, Workbench 2.0, and Windows 7.
